(Elmwood Park, New Jersey – July 22, 2011)
A male resident of Wallington, NJ died about 7:14 A.M. Friday morning when he was struck by a Suffern, NJ to Hoboken, NJ commuter train just east of South Midland Avenue in Elmwood Park, NJ. When police arrived on the scene, they merely covered the remains with a yellow tarp to prevent “any train passengers from seeing the mangled body.” Meanwhile, law enforcement and New Jersey Transit officials provided their usual speculation that “it is unclear at this time if the death was a suicide or an accident.”
